The concept of "Panchmahabhutha" ( The five elements) are skillfully correlated into practice of Vastushastra. The elements Prithvi (Earth) , Jal /Paani (Water), Aag ( Fire), Vaayu (wind), Aakash ( Sky) are not new to us. Hindu Vedic ideology maintains that the heaven & the human have evolved from the same elements. It is a network of event evidence that connects the man and the cosmos. The events in human life are influenced by the subtie changes that occur in the natural balance of the 5 elements, either in the immediate enviroment.

Now lets us come to the topic how does one should select a land for constructing his dream structure.

Vastushastra is based upon the ethics of Earth element.
1.Plot of the House should be square or in rectangle shape only.
2.Land should be clean and flat.
3.Land soil should be reddish in color.
4.Dig a hole in the land up to 1 and half feet and pour water in to the hole, if the water is absorbed quickly by the hole consider it not good sign to buy this land, if the water sustains for sometime and slowly the water is absorbed than consider it as a good sign to buy a land.
5.Land should have good odor.
6.Soil of the land should taste sweet.
7.Land should not have any thorny weeds and plants along with dead human beings or animals bones.
8.Neighborhood should not have temples/ Hospitals/ Garage/ Symmetry/ Scarp Shop etc.

The land which is perfect according to the Vastushastra should be "The Table Land".But the slops which are directing towards specified directions considers important.htmlect of the human beings life. Specified directions which are mentioned below are only beneficial or favorable for human beings life.
Slopes to Source - directionsi.e. North, North East, East are resourceful in life and slopes to sink - directions i.e. South, South West and West are harmful in life.

Road Hitting on Vastu

According to Vastu Shastra road hitting is known as " Vithi - Shula".Vithi means road & Shula means hitting. In Feng - Shui it is a belief that deities and angels travel in a mandalakar - path.logarithmic helical path and bad spirits & ghost travel in a intense straight channel. In a way Vithi Shula is the extension of this belief.
A straight intense and forceful travel of energy is like voltage shock to a Vastu such force acts like a killing force and disturb the deities and.htmliration of all directions. Some modern Vastu experts belive that Vithi Shula from source zones i.e North, North East and East create a positive result, but arrow hitting from front side or back side is bound to create the wounds in body.
